1. Planning foundation
Feline Transitions helps Guardians organize cat-specific care information, people, documents, funding intentions, review dates, and transition instructions. The service level selected determines the amount of Team review and coordination included.
2. Path A — plan and coordinate
Under Path A, the Guardian identifies the people or organizations expected to provide care. Feline Transitions may verify roles, maintain the plan, receive notices, contact named parties, and coordinate the transition steps described in the accepted agreement. Path A does not make Feline Transitions the owner, custodian, residential provider, or long-term caregiver.
3. Path B — funded care or placement
Path B is available only after cat-specific assessment, capacity review, written acceptance, and required funding. Its separate agreement must state the accepted care model, activation conditions, funding structure, exclusions, geography, duration, decision authority, and contingency process. Planning payment alone does not create a Path B commitment.
4. Combined plans
A household may use Path A as the primary plan and request Path B as a contingency. Each layer remains governed by its own accepted scope. If Path B is not accepted or active, the Path A plan continues according to its terms.
5. Excluded professional services
Unless separately stated, Feline Transitions does not provide legal, tax, financial, fiduciary, veterinary, emergency-dispatch, insurance, or estate-administration services. Guardians should obtain advice from appropriately licensed professionals.
6. Emergencies
The transition report is not 911, animal-control dispatch, or veterinary emergency service. A person who knows of immediate danger should contact the appropriate emergency provider first.
7. Final agreements control
This website is an educational summary. The signed agreement, accepted care plan, state-specific terms, and written Path B offer control if they differ from general website language.
